Enfield HGV recovery: the Lee Valley corridor, the A10 and M25 junction 25
Enfield’s heavy traffic runs north to south along the Lee Valley. Mollison Avenue (A1055) threads through Brimsdown and past Innova Park, linking a chain of distribution sheds, food processors, metal recyclers and builders’ merchants that stretches from Ponders End up to the Hertfordshire border. To the west, the A10 Great Cambridge Road is the other trunk, and both converge on M25 junction 25 where lorries leaving the estates join the motorway for the M11, A1(M) and the Midlands.
That geography shapes how K9 Recovery works the borough. A breakdown in Brimsdown and a breakdown on the M25 slip are different jobs, and our heavy operators know which is which before they leave.

Corridor one: Brimsdown and Mollison Avenue
The A1055 is a two-lane road with frequent roundabouts and side turnings into the estates. When an 18-tonner loses drive on the carriageway between Brimsdown and Enfield Lock, there is nowhere for following traffic to go. Our operator arrives, puts the recovery vehicle behind the casualty as a shield, lifts and clears to the nearest estate road. From Brimsdown we can tow straight to your depot, or to a commercial repairer around Enfield or Waltham Cross.
Innova Park and the northern estates
Innova Park and the units off Solar Way and Mollison Avenue north of the M25 take a lot of night deliveries. Artics arriving after midnight, drivers on their tacho limit, and a unit that will not restart at the loading bay is a frequent call. We will recover the whole combination or just the tractor, whichever suits how your trailer needs to be handled.
Corridor two: the A10 and Ponders End
The A10 through Enfield is fast, dual and busy, with the Southbury Road and Carterhatch Lane junctions in particular seeing plenty of low-speed shunts involving lorries. Ponders End, where the A110 crosses, has the tighter roads and the older industrial units that make a lorry breakdown awkward for everyone. Our commercial vehicle recovery covers everything on these roads from a 3.5-tonne van to a 26-tonne rigid.
Corridor three: M25 junction 25
A lorry failure on the junction 25 roundabout, the slip roads or the first mile of the M25 towards junction 24 or 26 is where response time matters most. Our London team has the most drivers and the heaviest kit of anywhere in the K9 network, and the Enfield operators are placed to reach J25 quickly. We work with National Highways traffic officers where they are on scene, recover to a safe location off the motorway, then complete the tow at the price already agreed.

Enfield lorry breakdown questions
I am on the M25 hard shoulder just past junction 25 heading clockwise. Can you come onto the motorway?
Yes. We recover from the M25 hard shoulder regularly. Stay behind the barrier, note the nearest marker post number, and tell us your direction. If National Highways have already coned the scene we liaise with them on arrival.
My artic will not start at a loading bay on Innova Park at 3am. Will you still come out?
We will. Night recoveries from the northern Enfield estates are normal work for our team, and the price is the same one we would quote at midday.
Can you recover a refrigerated 18-tonner from Mollison Avenue with the chilled load intact?
Yes. Tell us the fridge unit type and whether it runs off the engine or its own donkey engine, and we will make sure the load stays in temperature for the journey to your destination.
